Covid-19 Update – Alert Level 3

Self-Storage is considered an ‘Essential Business’ as we are part of the Essential Supply Chain that essential businesses such as first responders and freight carriers etc operate from our facilities.

Under Alert Level 3, All Secure Self Storage’s facilities will remain open for our customers to access their respective storage units. However, our offices will be closed to all customers and the public.

We are able to process new customers through our ‘contactless’ move in system. Our range of packaging supplies are also available for purchase and can be couriered or collected in person from our box shops.

The following services remain unavailable currently:

  • Moving mate Vans, Trucks and Trailers
  • Face-to-face payments

With the Prime Minister’s announcement, we are now at Covid-19 Alert Level 3. As of Thursday March 26th, this will be raised to Level 4.

With this news I can clarify that Self-Storage is considered an ‘Essential Business’ as we are part of the Essential Supply Chain that essential businesses such as first responders and freight carriers etc operate from our facilities.

All Secure Self Storage’s facilities will remain open for our customers to access their respective storage units if it is an Essential Requirement. However, from Thursday 26th March 2020, our offices will be closed to ALL customers and the Public. To assist in clarifying how we will operate over the coming weeks, I have outlined below how this will impact our customers:

  • There will be no face-to-face interaction with any individual or individuals.
  • We will no longer accept cash or cheque payments.
  • We will no longer accept EFTPOS or Credit card payments over the counter.

During this lock down period, only the Self-Storage units will be available to our current customers if it is an Essential Requirement.
No other services will be provided which includes the following:

  • Moving Mate Vans, Trucks and Trailers
  • Box Shops
  • Online Box Store
  • New move-ins
  • Move-outs
  • Face-to-face payments
