Mihai Tataru – All Secure, Hornby, Christchurch
I have recently had the extreme good fortune to deal with Mihai Tataru, your duty manager in Hornby, Christchurch.
I am Wellington-based, and needed to arrange long-term storage fairly urgently for a significant number of goods stored on a temporary basis elsewhere in Christchurch. (All Secure was recommended to me by Harris Transport.) The goods ranged from some reasonably heavy machinery, to furniture and household items, to numerous pieces of wood, some of them quite long. I had no idea at all about the cubic storage capacity required to accommodate the goods and was concerned about the weight of some equipment (which needed a small forklift to be moved) and the ability of longer pieces to ‘turn corners’ in corridors etc.
This email is to record my sincere thanks for the superb service which I received from Mihai both on the day, and in conversation with him several days prior when I made my initial enquiries. He listened to details of my items and likely requirements and identified a probable storage unit. However – to my great delight – on the day of the move Mihai advised that due to an unexpected cancellation the day prior, he could now allocate a storage facility with straight drive-on access. This made a huge difference to the transport company’s ability to unload with ease. When it was obvious that, in spite of expert packing in the allocated unit we still needed more room, Mihai immediately located a second storage unit for us.
Mihai has also assisted with a host of other things – storage boxes, padlocks, liaising with the transport company, ensuring after hours access etc. Being based in Wellington currently, it has made a huge difference to me to know that all “matters storage” in Christchurch were – and continue to be – taken care of by All Secure through Mihai. I had worried about the goods in their temporary location. I can tell you that I haven’t lost a night’s sleep since their move to All Secure.
All Secure is very fortunate to have Mihai on its team. He goes out of his way to meet the customer’s needs and provides a highly professional service. I cannot commend him highly enough. If you have an ‘employee of the month’ award, I would be delighted if he could be considered for this.

Good morning Steven,
The Ford Focus car, previously stored at your Carmen Road yard until Wednesday of this week, has now been delivered to Turners for disposal.
This means that we now no longer require storage space at your yard. Would you please advise if you can arrange to invoice us for the final payment or, if we are paying by direct credit to your bank account, advise the final payment date.
Thank you for all the help you provided during the storage period, especially your help in having the batteries of the cars recharged for us.

“Moving is a pain, and when I got my first storage unit through Hamish he was extremely helpful and efficient which was a good change from all the other suppliers you have to deal with when moving. I felt like a bit of a fool having to ring up 1 month later and ask for an even bigger unit… should have used the storage calculator, but then again it never fails to amaze how much stuff my better half can hide. Getting the bigger unit was even easier as my details were already on file. Huge thank you to Hamish!!”
